| O estudo de 38 ensaios de adubação de milho, espalhados em fazendas da Seccional de Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brasil, conduziu às seguintes conclusões: 1. Em experimentos com produção da testemunha abaixo de 2000 Kg/ha houve respostas significativas para N, R, K e calcário. Se tomarmos o preço de 100 kg de milho como equivalente ao de 10 kg de N, 12 de P2O5 ou 30 de K2O, as doses recomendáveis de adubação são: 38 kg/ha de N, zero de P2O5 e 88 kg/ha de K2O. 2. Em experimentos com produção da testemunha não inferior a 2000 kg/ha somente os efeitos de N e de R foram significativos, mas parece preferível usar fertilização completa, que, com os preços adotados, seria recomendável aos níveis de 44kg/ha de N, 75 de P2O5 e 51 de K2O. 3. | Foraminiferal collections from Java and Borneo stored in the Netherlands National Museum of Geology and Mineralogy in Leiden enables to study the range of variation in Lepidocyclina ferreroi and L. multilobata. Taken separately many features considered typical of L. multilobata and L. ferreroi are insufficient to identify the specimens. When typically developed both species are highly characteristic and easily distinguished. Transitional forms however cannot be classified with certainty. Possibly L. multilobata has evolved from L. ferreroi but too little is known about the ages of the two species, especially of L. multilobata. | This paper presents the results of an analysis of about four hundred skulls of Myotis mystacinus and M. brandtii of the Holocene age from the Záskočie Cave (Central Slovakia). A review of criteria for species determination is presented, including a new criterion concerning the morphology of P4 roots, as well as the results of a statistical survey of skull dimensions and correlation and regression analyses. The author concludes that the above mentioned bats are not sibling species, but that they belong to different subgenera of the genus Myotis. |

| Complementando os estudos da parte experimental do método da 2,2'-dipididil cetoxima para a determinação do cobalto, são apresentados os resultados dos ensaios sobre os efeitos de diversos íons. Foi sugerida uma técnica para remover as interferências causadas por alguns desses íons. Em etapas anteriores, foram efetuadas investigações sobre o reativo, a influência do pH, o sistema tampão e o solvente. | In the delta of the rivers Fluvia and Muga, the Quaternary is hydrogeologically the most important deposit. It is underlain by Pliocene marls and clays. From geo-electrical soundings and bore-hole data a map with depth contours of the Quaternary-Pliocene boundary plane was constructed. Near the coast the Quaternary consists of two aquifers. One of the restrictions of the resistivity method is that the second aquifer is too thin in respect to its depth. Therefore only the formation resistivities of the complete Quaternary were calculated.
